Privacy Policy

Transparency matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, why, who sees it and how you stay in control.

1. Who is responsible

  • LXD is responsible for the personal data processed through lxdglobal.com and its services. You can contact us about privacy through the Contact page.

2. What we collect

  • Account details: name, email and, if you use Google sign-in, your basic Google profile.
  • Profile and application details: nationality, time zone, languages, positions, skills, availability and start date, experience, values, interests, links, portfolio, video presentation, CV and answers to offer questions.
  • Choices you make: accepted terms, email preferences and the recruiter you select.
  • Technical data: basic logs needed to keep the service secure and working.

3. Why we use it

  • To create your account and community profile (based on our agreement with you).
  • To evaluate your applications and match you with suitable offers (agreement and our legitimate interest in recruiting).
  • To send LXD news and opportunities by email, only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To keep the platform secure and meet legal obligations.

4. CVs and automatic extraction

  • CVs are stored in private storage. Only you and authorized LXD recruiters can access them.
  • If you choose to, we read your CV automatically to pre-fill your experience. You always review and can edit the result before saving.

5. Who we share it with

  • Your assigned LXD agent and the authorized hiring team of the offers you apply to.
  • Service providers that help us run LXD: our hosting and database provider, Google (sign-in), Make (automation) and ClickUp (recruitment task management). When you apply to an offer, your application, including a time-limited link to your CV, is sent through Make to ClickUp.
  • Community sign-ups that are not applications stay in our own talent pool and are not sent to ClickUp.
  • We never sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

  • Some providers may process data outside your country. When this happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

7. How long we keep it

  • Profile data is kept while your account is active. Application data is kept for up to 24 months after the selection process ends so we can consider you for future opportunities, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

8. Your rights

  • You can access, correct, download or delete your data, object to or limit its use, and withdraw consent at any time.
  • Most details can be edited directly from your profile. For anything else, contact us; we answer within 30 days.
  • You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Security

  • Access to records is restricted by role and organization, and private files are protected. No system is perfect, and we will notify you of any breach that affects you as required by law.

10. Changes

  • We may update this policy and will notify registered users of important changes.
